Fine Arts is... A discipelship tool that the national youth ministries of the Assembly of God designed to help students discover and develop their ministry gifts. Every year in September over 70,000 students across America begin to prepare for State and National Fine Arts Festival. State Fine Art Festival is held in May of every year where students preform in front of three judges.
Our very own Danny Howell went before these three judges and they thought he should go perform at the national level. This led Danny to Charlotte, NC where he would perform in the Communication Division performing an American Sign Language Solo. Some of the things the judges would be looking for are: facial expressions, confidence and comfort in signing, and evidence of spiritual motivation. On August 6th 2008 was Danny's time to perform. With his performance he earned a Superior with Honors. On August 7th he received a callback where he was up against 19 other students to try and land in the Top 10.
